• In 1999 Monash University adopted the initiatives of activity based costing as its’ financial model.
• Space management was identified as a key element in the implementation of Strategic Cost Management.
• The Space Management Project began in 2001.

• Space Information had to be accessible to the University Community.

Space Management Web Site
• View building plans as they are maintained by the Space Management Project
• View summaries of the space analysis data associated with these plans
• Allow the user to interface with the space data to create reports.
• Create a site that has the look and feel of the Monash University global site with simple point and click navigation.
