WIOA Law Planning Components
State Plan Status
DOL released a Guidance Document and is requesting comments. The Comment period closes on 10-5-15.
DEED is considering a Combined Plan approach, being more inclusive of the required federal titles that are included in the WIOA law.
Meeting with Program Administrators to discuss the impact of a Combined Plan.

The National Governor’s Association has suggested using “Collective Impact” as a framework.

Regional/Local Plan• Planning document is being drafted• Consultation will occur in September• Document to be made available in October• Plan will most likely be due in April/May (No date set yet)• Meetings around Regional Planning have begun
