Again in 2011, the Kernels will begin their Monday through Saturday games at 6:35 pm with Sunday games beginning at 2:05 pm. The 2011 schedule features eight noon games: Wednesday, April 27; Mo nday , May 9; Thursday, May 19; Wednesday, May 25; Wednesday, June 8; Monday, July 11; Monday, July 18; and Monday, August 1. The Kernels also feature 13 reworks nights starting Saturday, May 7, and the return of the very popular Theme Nights including Star Wars Night (Friday, May 27) and Jimmy Buffett Night (Saturday, August 20). Additional Theme Nights are in the works and will be announced as they are scheduled. The Kernels will be home on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 8 at 2:05 pm), Memorial Day (Monday, May 30 at 2:05 pm), and the Fourth of July (Monday, July 4 at 5:05 pm). The Kernels will also be home Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19 at 2:05 pm, and will feature the traditional Fath er’s Day Brunch prior to the game. Other special start times are Saturday , April 23 (2:05 pm). Season ticket packages are on sale now. Orders are also being taken for 10-game Anytime Coupon Books and Five Dollar Gift Certicates. These books and gift certicates will be available for pickup or shipment on Thursday , October 28. Individual game ticket prices remain unchanged from 2010 and will be $10 for Premier, $9 for Club, $8 for Plaza, $7 for Lawn. Individual game tickets will go on sale Monday, March 25 at 10 am. Kernels announce 2011 schedule; Season tickets on-sale now

Cedar Rapids, IA – The Cedar Rapids Kernels announce their 2010 home schedule today andbegin their tenth season in Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Monday,

April 11 with a 6:35 pm game against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

Again in 2011, the Kernels will begin their Monday through Saturday games at 6:35 pmwith Sunday games beginning at 2:05 pm.
