for the post of Jr. Artisan-A (Trainee) for engagement in CESU Distribution System. 1. Job
Requirement: For maintenance of lines and sub-stations including construction, Customer Service
and other related works. 2. Qualification: The candidate must be a Matriculate and possess: (i)
National Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade from Institution recognized by SCTE&VT / NCVT.
OR National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade from SCTE&VT / NCVT. (ii) Candidates
engaged in CESU Distribution System having ITI Certificate in Wireman Trade from SCTE & VT /
NCVT may also apply. (iii) Certificate of passing Oriya Language Test (Minimum M.E. Standard)
3. Experience: The candidates should have minimum one year experience in Power Distribution
Sector. Preference shall be given to the candidates engaged in CESU Distribution system. The
experience as Apprentice Trainee will not be considered. 4. Age: The candidate should be above
18 years of age and below 32 years of age as on 01.07.2010. The upper age limit is relaxable in
case of candidates engaged in CESU Distribution System. 5. Vacancy : 861 Nos. The eligible
candidates shall be required to appear for the Personal Interview at their own cost, the date and
venue of which shall be intimated in due course. On selection, they shall be appointed as Jr.Artisan-A (Trainee) for a period of 3 years. During the training period, they shall be paid
monthly stipend amount as under:

5. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
(i) AGE:- Between 20 to 25 years (Cut off date for determining the age Will be 20nd August 2010)Note:
(a) Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST by 5 years and for OBC by 3 years. (b) The upper agelimit shall be relaxed by the length of military service increased by 3 years in the case of Ex-
servicemen. (c) Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for Departmental candidates and inaddition 5 years age relaxation for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe and 3 years for OtherBackwards Classes. (d) Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of the children and
dependent family members of those killed in 1984 riots and riots of 2002 in Gujarat. SC/ST/OBCrelaxation as per Govt. instructions will be in addition. Children and dependent family members
should produce a Certificate to that effect from the Collector of the concerned District where thevictim was killed. (e) Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in castse of all persons who hadordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1 st day of
January 1980 to the 319 day of December 1989. (f) Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years forGovt. servant in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt. Persons
