Pilgrim Nuclear Power Stationin-Service inspection Plan for 1995 Refuelino Outace #10

This Letter provides the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station In-Service Inspection (ISI) Plan for the 1995Refueling Outage (RFO) #10, as required by 10 CFR 50.55a. The RFO #10 is currently scheduled tobegin on Mach 25,1995.

The Enclosure provides a list of scheduled ISI examinations that will complete the third period of thePilgrim second ten year inspection interval in accordance with Section XI of the ASME Boiler andPressure Vessel Code,1980 Edition with Winter 1980 Addenda (Enclosure (A)). ASME Coderequired examinations planned for RFO#10 include nondestructive and visual examinations of safetyrelated piping systems, welds, attachments, botting and pipe supports. In addition, the followingaugmented examinations have been scheduled for RFO #10:

1. Remote and manual ultrasonic examination of Reactor Pressure Vessel shell welds . 4

prescribed in ASME Section XI, Table IWB-2500-1, item B1.10, in accordance with 10 CFR |
