Major Strengths and Needed ImprovementsOn the basis of this committees assessment of data as reported above, identifyone to three major strengths and one to three needed improvements in the areaof the schools statement of philosophy, including the development, communication, and implementation of the philosophy.
The one to three areas of needed improvement may form the basis of annualgoals for these areas of the school. The subcommittee may choose to develop
action plans to address these identified improvement needs (especially if theplans serve to clarify the nature and scope of the desired improvement). It issuggested that any action plans include an outline proposing how this need canbe addressed. The outline should include the objective of the improvement plan, the person responsible for its implementation, a plan for monitoring itsaccomplishment, and the resources necessary to carry out the plan.
The visiting committee may affirm the strengths and the areas of neededimprovement and may suggest additional areas for growth.
