PARTNERS IN PROJECT

HEP – ODS as Investor

KONČAR as Main Supplier

ABB Sweden as subsupplier for Network Manager SCADA/DMS system (Release 2.3)

HP Hardware equipment (Alpha and Proliant servers)

OLD SCADA SYSTEMS

PDP 11/44 computers supplied and installed by Končar in 1980s

ADLP 80 (SINDAC) communication protocol Mostly DS -8 family of RTUs produced in KONČAR Only SCADA functions (PROZA D/R)

PROJECT FOR NEW CENTERS

Long story started in 1994 and ended in 2004

Features:– SCADA with DMS functions for 110, 30(35) and 10(20) kV

network– Protocol conversion ADLP and IEC 101 to IEC 104– ICCP connections– Uninterupted operation – paralel opeartion of old and new

center

DATA ENGINEERING FOR MV NETWORK

Limitation of 8096 substations– 2500 MV substations + connections of cables and OH lines (ZG)

Introduction of Site concepts and Feeder lines inside one big substation representing area of MV network

Development of Wireless connectors from HV to MV substation Overview pictures (limit of 29 subpictures with 1000 dynamic

elements) - maximum of 500 sites in one substation Modelling of grounding of transformer neutral point! Technical data must be very detailed:

– tap changers on transformers– Parallel susceptance on lines– Compensators,…
