Click on the Create tab

Click on the Query Design button

Add the Sites table and Close

Double-click on Code to include it in the queryYou could also drag it down into the first column

The Code criteria should be OC or AS

Run the query…

… to check that you only see OC and AS

Return to Design View

Also use Country, Current ~Area, Potential Area

Click in the Field row of the next available column

Type Growth:[Potential Area]-[Current Area]You always need square brackets around fieldnames that have spaces in

Run the query…

… and check the mathsDoes Growth = Potential Area – Current Area for each field?

Back to Design View…

… and set Growth to be sorted in ascending orderThis can also be done in the Report stage

Run the query to check it

Save the query…

…with a suitable name e.g. Q43…

… and close
