    This is another verb where a word toword translation wont work. Gustar literally means to be

    pleasing to someone, not Xlikes

    Because what you like is actually

    DOING the action, and you [orwhomever is doing the liking] isRECEIVING the action, the verbagrees with what is liked, and theperson doing the liking is expressedby an Indirect Object Pronoun.

    There are several ways of forming the future inSpanish. This form deals with the near future.

    IR + A + INFINITIVE ofthe action that isgoing to take place.

    These are actions that the subject of the sentence does tohim or herselfboth performs and receives the effects ofan action.

    They are more common inSpanish than in Englishbecause we tend to leave themyself, himself, etc. out.

    Reflexive verbs use a reflexivepronoun. This is found at the end ofthe infinitive if you look in thedictionary [levantarse] and they areplaced in front of conjugated verbs.
