Embrace Your Tribe  

Who needs you most? This key decision is going to move you forward and it’s going to make your marketing easier. I thought you might enjoy knowing five ways that finding your tribe (the people that need you most) is going to make your life easier.  

(1) Saves you time – you know exactly where to put your efforts.

 

(2) Saves you money - you can narrowly focus on your group and spend marketing dollars there.

 

(3) Saves you energy - no confusion on where to go next to reach clients.

 

(4) Saves you from being “salesy”- you serve a specific group and you can focus your talents on them.

 

(5) Saves you from competition - when you are specialized, there is no competition.

 Ok, seems easier already, right? In this section, we are going to define your tribe, see some real life tribe examples, research our tribe reach (that was a tongue twister) and take the Tribe Litmus Test to make certain this is sincerely who needs you most.  To understand the power of a tribe, I came up with some real world examples to clarify and inspire.

Amanda left corporate America to become a therapist. She felt very called to do important work. She was attracting mostly women in their 30’s and though she was getting some clients, it was a slow start. When we uncovered that most of her clients were very unhappy in their jobs and she LOVED helping people make the transition she had in her career life, her tribe was born.  Who needed her most? 30-Something Women Making a Career Move.

         

Ben was a health counselor. He went for training after a long relationship had turned sour and left him floundering. He was niche phobic and working with anyone he could grab. When he realized his overcoming that heartbreak relationship was a defining moment for him, he understood who he could help.  Who needed him most? Couples looking to improve their mental and physical health.
