NATIONAL PORTABLE STORAGE ASSOCIATION

Dear Members, Spouses & Guests:

Enclosed is the preliminary information for the upcoming Annual Conference ofthe National Portable Storage Association. We are developing an overall event thatwill promote learning, business opportunities, networking and camaraderie amongstall participants. It is our goal to provide an eventful conference that presentspertinent educational programs and facilitates the exchange of ideas betweenmembers, sponsors, exhibitors and guests.

We encourage you to review the information in this conference packet and toconfirm your participation. With over 600 industry professionals anticipated, weexpect to maximize all the space we were able to secure from the Sheraton CrownCenter. To ensure your reservation, please return the registration forms at the endof this packet and make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.

Conference Highlights:

Some conference highlights include a motivational address by Victoria LaBalmeand the return from Philadelphia of Scott Ginsberg. Some of you may be aware ofMs. LaBalme and her recent wedding to Frank Oz (creator of several Muppetcharacters), but she has developed a unique brand of her own by having addressedsenior executives at Fortune 100 companies to sales teams, entrepreneurs andindustry leaders. Victoria has helped thousands of individuals tap into their uniquegifts to transform their communications and bring them into an entirely new realm -- one marked by creativity, innovation, authenticity, humor, impact and lastingresults. We are lucky that she has a soft spot for associations and are fortunate tohave found an opening on her calendar. Another victory for us was reacquiring Mr.Ginsberg after his very entertaining session at our Philadelphia meeting. Theattendees were strongly supportive of our efforts to have Mr. Ginsberg return with aWorkshop Format to enable our attendees to take back solid ideas to their officesand personal lives. With numerous additional educational sessions and networkingopportunities we hope that you will be able to join us for this 10th Anniversaryevent. And, if you have any pictures of past events, or interesting witticisms aboutthe start of the association, please share them with your association staff. We wantto share comments and pictures at the conference.

Please contact us with any questions you may have concerning this program or theassociation. Updated information and a full conference program will be availableat the registration booth during the conference. We look forward to welcoming youto our 10th Anniversary Conference and Exposition!

Very truly yours,

John Finnessy Joel RathboneExecutive Director Operations Manager

What is available at the hotel...

The Sheraton is part of the larger Crown Center complex.Located in the heart of downtown Kansas City, Crown Centeris often called a city within a city. The shopping andentertainment complex features three levels of shops andrestaurants, a set of grand open air fountains, live theatres, movie theatres, an ice skating rink and overstreet walkwaysleading throughout the complex and to Kansas City's UnionStation. One of the most notable stores is the Halls departmentstore designed by Paul László. The complex also includes the

45-story Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center (which was Missouri's tallest building whenbuilt), a Westin hotel, and two upscale residential apartment skyscrapers. Kansas City's threelargest law firms maintain their headquarters in other skyscrapers in the neighborhood. Theneighborhood's grounds are replete with parks, fountains, green spaces and unique sculptures.

Complete information on everything the Crown Center has to offer can be found at this link:http://www.crowncenter.com/Index.asp. This will include information on shopping, dining, entertainment, events and a map of the local area.

What is there to do in the surrounding area…

Kansas City is a dynamic city backed by a vibrant arts scene, world-class attractions and aneclectic mix of shops. We are fortunate to have several members and our Association’sOperations Manager, Joel Rathbone, available as local resources. They have a wealth ofinformation that they are happy to share with you.

A fun A-Z list of things to do in Kansas City can be found at this link:http://www.visitkc.com/things-to-do/attractions/kc-from-a-to-z/index.aspx

As noted above, there is much to do in the Crown Center area. We also have an agreement withthe hotel to shuttle our members each evening to and from the Power & Light district. You canwalk to this district from the hotel, but the shuttle will be more convenient.

Power & Light DistrictThe Kansas City Power & Light District is a premier dining, entertainment and shopping district inthe heart of downtown Kansas City. Offering over a half million square feet, the Kansas CityPower & Light District is the Midwest's premier entertainment epicenter. With more than 50unique and captivating restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment venues, the Power & LightDistrict offers something for everyone. Located in the heart of downtown, this vibrant, new nine-block neighborhood links the Convention Center to the Sprint Arena and is bringing the beat backto Kansas City.

Information on the district can be found at this link:http://www.powerandlightdistrict.com/index.cfm

7

Country Club PlazaMany of you will remember staying near the CountryClub Plaza at the first meeting ten years ago. This areremains a vibrant and active part of Kansas City.

The Country Club Plaza (often referred to as ThePlaza) is an upscale shopping district and residentialneighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. It was thefirst shopping center in the world designed toaccommodate shoppers arriving by automobile.Although the Plaza was designed and built to

accommodate visitors arriving by automobile, it is unlike modern shopping malls with sprawlingparking lots: parking is discreetly concealed in multilevel parking garages beneath and behind theshops, or hidden on the rooftops of buildings. Thus the Plaza does not suffer from the sprawl thatafflicts modern shopping centers, and this design makes it friendly to pedestrians. The 55 acre siteis about four miles south of downtown, between 45th and 51st streets to the north and south andbetween Broadway and Madison Street to the east and west. The Kansas state line is one mile tothe west. Established in 1922 by J. C. Nichols and designed architecturally after Seville, Spain, thePlaza comprises high-end retail establishments, restaurants, and entertainment venues, as well asoffices.

Information on the Plaza can be found at this link: http://www.countryclubplaza.com/Index.htm

WestportOn the way to the Plaza, you will pass Westport. Westport is Kansas City’s original entertainmentdistrict boasting a rich history as the oldest established community in Kansas City. More than 150years ago Westport marked the passage into the Western Frontier and set the foundation for what itis today, a thriving shopping and entertainment district. Westport is a fusion of local eateries, fashionable boutiques and hot night spots compounded with remnants of the neighborhood’shistoric past.

Information on Westport can be found at this link: http://westportkcmo.com/

GamingKansas City has several gaming establishments to include Harrah’s, Argosy and Ameristar, Isle ofCapri and the Hollywood Casino at the Kansas Speedway.
