11 Support AreaWork will begin on the surface parking lot on the north side of Howard Street. This will necessitate the removal of the fencing adjacent to and directly behind the Michelman/Burstein building, along with the removal of soil, grading, curb installation, paving and line striping. The initial work will take place internal to the site and not include work directly on Howard Street. Noise and vibration will result.

12 MGM Way Exterior façade work is underway. Fixed window installation is underway. Receiving deliveries and staging of material/equipment.

Early Childhood Center (off map) Foundation work is underway.

STREET WORK

State Street No work anticipated

Main StreetReflectorized drums will intermittently be placed in the south bound lane to shift traffic from 6am-6pm Monday through Friday to allow for the unloading of certain materials onto the construction site. The barrels will be moved out of the road at the end of each day to allow parking during non-working hours. Two way traffic will be maintained at all times and two police details will be present. This traffic shift is currently underway.

Union Street

Union St between Main St & E. Columbus is now reopened to through traffic. The following work will remain ongoing in the area: reconstruction of sidewalks and curbing, along with installation of wheelchair curb ramps, signal conduits, foundations, and pull boxes. Lane shifts and/or alternating one way traffic will be required. Pedestrian access will be rerouted. Some noise and vibration may result. A police detail is anticipated. Activity will proceed on an intermittent basis due to normal sequencing of work tasks, subcontractors, & coordination of work.

Union Street is anticipated to remain closed between E. & W. Columbus through mid-November. Access to Pride Gas Station, the Colvest Building, and 55 State Street will be maintained at all times. Signage will be in place to direct patrons and drivers accordingly. E. Columbus Ave. will be open to through traffic throughout the project. At times, lanes will need to be reduced to accommodate utility crossings at the intersections. Police details will be present throughout the summer to help traffic flow as efficiently as possible.

East Columbus Avenue Water main testing and road restoration work is underway. A police detail is anticipated.

Bliss StreetBliss Street reclamation work is anticipated to take place on Monday Nov 13th and Tuesday Nov 14th to prepare new roadway. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times, and a police detail will be present. Noise and vibration will result. Road grading and paving is also anticpated to take place later in November.
