DAY 1: DEPART FOR VIETNAM

Today we settle in for our long journey to the Southeast Asian country of Vietnam. DAY 2: ARRIVAL HO CHI MINH B, L, D

Arrival into Vietnam Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, our guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY B,L

This morning set out for the underground Cu Chi Tunnels as we learn about it’s elaborate system of tunnels connecting Vietnam. After our visit, we will drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for a walking tour of the city’s most famous and historic landmarks. The tour will take you from the Ben Thanh market, the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace),Old Saigon Post Office and end at the famous Dong Khoi Street.

DAY 4: MEKONG DELTA B,L

Today, you will drive to Mekong Delta to enjoy a full day of this magical region with visits of its local villages and amazing markets. Our journey will take us by private, yet rustic motorized boat to cruise along the upper Mekong to observe the abundant agricultural life it presents for Vietnam. Major highlights on this boating adventure include the fish-rearing village by the Vam Xep canal, Quoi An fruit ocrhard, Ben Truc – Phong Phu gardens, & Phoenix Island. This day is also an opportunity to interact with local people who make their livelihoods on the river. We will end our journey in Mekong with a guided row boat trip to explore the famous water palm canals. Heading back to Ho Chi Minh, we will stop over at Vinh Trang Pagoda, an ancient architectural gem.

DAY 8: HOI AN B,L

Today we depart for the My Son-Holy Land to see the ancient ruins of the Kingdom of Champa. After lunch drive back to Hoi An for visits of the Japanese Bridge, renowned Chinese Temple, and former Vietnamese former merchants house of Hoi An. DAY 9: HOI AN – HANOI B,L

This morning, enjoy the flight up to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, our guide will meet us and start the city tour of the capital city of Hanoi. Highlights included Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. We will also be able to explore the Old Quarter by rickshaw before heading to watch a traditional Water Puppet Show on the serene Hoan Kiem Lake. DAY 10: HALONG BAY B,L,D

Today we make the drive to one of the most beautiful places on Earth, Halong Bay. Embark onboard our cruise as we sail throughout the vast bay. See nearly 2,000 limestone islands, traditional sampans, grottos, hidden coves and the many other junk boats sailing around. Enjoy the full-service cruise lines services throughout our day/evening. Overnight on the boat. DAY 11: HALONG BAY – HANOI DEPARTURE B

Today, we enjoy the beautiful sunrise on the Bay and visit an actual pearl farm. After our morning activities, we will diesmbark and head back towards Hanoi for our departure home.

DAY 5: HO CHI MINH – HUE B

After some morning free time in Ho Chi Minh, we join together to fly up to the city of Hue in Central Vietnam. DAY 6: HUE B,L

We will start the day with a visit to the majestic Royal Tomb of King Ming Mang. Afterwards, we will sail the Perfume River by royal dragon boat to the serene Thien Mu Pagoda and transfer to visit cobbled paths through the grounds of the Imperial Citadel and tour the Forbidden Purple City. We will end our day by absorbing the energy, sounds and smells of the bustling Dong Ba Market. DAY 7: HUE- DANANG – HOI AN B,L

Drive to Hoi An via Danang, Hai Van Pass, Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum, Marble Mountains After a relaxing breakfast we head for Hoi An. On the way, we stop to visit Hai Van Pass, Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum, Marble Mountain. Have lunch at local restaurant. Arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon, check in to hotel and have some free time to explore.
