Answers to questions like “Do you owna pet?What is it?” usually get theclassic answer “A Cat” , “ A Dog” or “AFluffy Rabbit”. Yet, there are peoplewho think outside the classic petchoice box and opt for other quite odddomestic companions. Some of themare quite difficult to keep, see foryourself.

1.Sugar Gliders

This tiny Australian handful ofcuteness makes a great pet, not onlybecause it's absolutely adorable, butbecause forms a strong bond with itshuman family. They're omnivores,which means they eat almostanything. However, you could feedthem with fresh fruit andvegetables.

2.Fennec Fox

Fennecs should not be mistaken for domesticanimals. They're independent and energetic andyet cuddly. They can be enjoyed by the wholefamily, as they're very playful.

These little rodents have been considered pests for awhile, but are now pets to a lot of people. Naturally theylook all fluffy and cuddly, but they won't be a typical pet.They have sharp claws and teeth, they cannot be leftalone. They're hyper active and could become addicted tohuman junk food.

These little stinkers require quite a lot ofcare, especially when they're still babies.Yet, they love to play and the more youcuddle them , the cuddlier they'll become asgrown­ups.

10. Pigs

Piglets ate super cute, smart and affectionate pets.Yet, they won't jump at you and lick your face like apuppy will. They like interaction with humans andenjoy being petted.Keep in mind they're a little bitdestructive, so you should train them.

11.Marmosets

Primates are not that commons as pets,especially marmosets. They're wildanimals and as such should be providedwith an environments as complex astheir natural habitat.
