cooled smooth casing, AC induction Motorwith 15kW of rated power at battery voltage of84Vdc.It has same dimensions of the other M2 familymotors up to 30kW.Its particular power/torque diagram makes itsuitable for application where greatacceleration is required, typical of city commu-niting driving.With special shaft and coupling it is availablenamed as M2-AC15/4-AS (Smart) andbecame famous being the choosen motor forEVE's first eSmart prototype in 2009.
