B) 1974. Ramón Gómez Villares begins his career as a practicing lawyer on his own, achieving a group of loyal clients. In 1996 he is joined by his son Santiago, and the firm enters into a new phase of growth. At that time he also began collaborating with the law firm of Carlos Alvarez.

C) 1980. Carlos Álvarez was a practicing lawyer with his own firm, well-known for its focus on the study of Law. In 1992, he was a member of the Board of the Malaga Law Association, along with Ramon Gomez Villares; the two became friends, giving rise a few years later to the merger of their respective law firms.

In 2011 a leading project is launched in Malaga with the constitution of a new law firm, with over 50 years of experience in the field of legal practice. GVA & ATENCIA is an initiative geared at providing the services of a major law firm with the personal attention of a family firm.

D) 2000. Following a period of collaboration, the law firm Gómez Villares & Álvarez Abogados was founded. It opened an office in Marbella and continued to expand, opening offices in Torre del Mar in 2002 and Jávea (Alicante) in 2003. By 2005 the firm had a staff of 30 professionals, and that year it created a tax department. In 2007, Gómez Villares & Álvarez also created an Academic Committee.

A) 1953. Manuel Atencia García opened what has become one of Malaga’s oldest law firms. In the decade of the 80s the second generation of lawyers of this well-known Malaga family joined the firm, known for its quality and personalised attention, and has contributed to the consolidation of its prestige and its clients. Atencia Abogados brings 16 professionals to the merger.

A successful project requires solid foundations. At GVA & ATENCIA we have a staff of over 40 professionals, including more than 30 lawyers. All of them share the same traits: commitment, independence, work capacity, precision and a focus on excellence.

New central OFFICES

The initiative we have launched deserves special premises. This is why our new central offices in Malaga occupy 900 square metres.

Three BRANCHES between Malaga and Alicante

In addition to its Malaga offices, GVA & ATENCIA has offices in Marbella, Torre del Mar and Jávea, geared at providing services to national and foreign clients.

Our structure also includes the law firm of the prestigious Malaga lawyer Eduardo Luque, which specialises in fiscal matters, with a staff of more than ten professionals in Madrid.
