(2) This tolerance may be exceeded in localized areas offormed fittings where increased wall thickness is requi-red to meet design requirements in ASME B 16.28.
(3) The inside diameter and the nominal wall thicknesses at
ends are to be specified by the purchaser. Wall thick-ness tolerance applies throughout the fitting.
(4) Unless otherwise specified by the purchaser, these tole-rances apply to the nominal inside diameter, whichequals the difference between the nominal outside dia-meter and twice the nominal wall thickness.
