STATE AND FEDERAL REPORTINGCompared to last week: No price trend available on slaughter lambs due to limited comparable sales. Feeder lambs traded mostly steady to 4.00 higher. Slaughter ewes and bucks traded mostly steady. In the goat trade, slaughter kids traded mostly steady on a thin test from the previous week. Slaughter nannies traded mostly steady except on selection 1 nannies which traded sharply higher. Due to a very thin test no market analysis is available on slaughter billies and wethers. Trade activity was moderate on good buyer demand. In the sheep supply 13% slaughter lambs, 40% slaughter ewes and bucks and 47% feeder lambs. The goat supply consisted of 82% slaughter kids, 12% slaughter nannies and 6% slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
