A choice of three different alloy wheels gives you the

opportunity to individualise your Lupo to suit your personal

style from a classic to a sporty look, with 13 and 14 inch wheel

sizes, and five and eight-spoke designs. Each has been

carefully designed to enhance the style of your Lupo, while

ensuring safe handling and performance. Anti-theft wheel

bolts help protect your chosen alloy wheels and a lowered

suspension kit is available for better roadholding and a more

sporty performance.

A wooden-look gear knob adds a personal touch to the interior,

available. Like the new Road Angel, an advanced easy to use GPS and laser speed camera and black spot detector that helps guard

lives and licences. Added security can also be provided in the form of upgraded alarm systems, steering wheel locks and the latest

anti-theft car recovery system TRACKER. In addition, Volkswagen have also introduced Mighty Dot. A revolutionary property

marking system, Mighty Dot is sprayed onto key components of the vehicle the end result is a vehicle (and its parts) that can

always be traced back to its owner.

Child safety has to be the most important consideration for any driver and to this end Volkswagen provide a range of fully tested,

approved child seats offering maximum comfort and protection. The latest child seat guide opposite will help you make the right

choice for your small passengers. In addition, a selection of luggage restraints helps protect passengers from loose items when you

brake, and dog restraints are available to keep your animals happy and safe in the rear of the car.

1. Road Angel

Available across the range

The Road Angel driver safety system is a speed-sensitive

hazard warning system that alerts drivers to accident

black spots and other stretches of road where

regulation of speed is advisable. With no complex

wiring or fitting, Road Angel provides you with an easy

to use safety advisor that sits on your dashboard.

TRACKER and Mighty Dot)

4. Child seats

Volkswagen offers two types of child seat for children

from eight months to four years, and from three years

to 12 years.

Child safety

An appropriate child restraint is a baby carrier, child seat, harness or booster seat suitable for the childs weight. Approved child restraints must

carry the BS Kitemark or United Nations E mark. A restraint will be labelled by the manufacturers to show the weight for which it has been

designed. Some children may find it more comfortable to use a booster cushion (not a household cushion) when wearing an adult seat belt.

The law states that it is the responsibility of the driver to ensure that children are properly restrained in a vehicle. The front passenger seat

airbag should be deactivated when using a front seat-mounted child seat.

If there are not enough seat belts available: The law does not prevent you from carrying more passengers than there are restraints,

but available restraints should be used wherever possible. If you have to choose who rides without a restraint, heavier passengers

will cause greater injury to others in an accident if they are not wearing a seat belt. If no child restraint is available for children aged

under three years, it is generally safer for them to wear an adult belt alone, in the back seat, rather than no restraint at all.

iHow do I know which type of electrics I need?

Your retailer will be happy to explain the type

of electrics you need, and in most cases it will

depend upon the age of your car and the type

of item you intend to tow.

DONT FORGET TOWING ELECTRICS!

i REMEMBER! Check the wheel nuts, best done with a

torque wrench. Your handbook will tell you

how tight these should be.

Check the tyre pressures, including the spare,

and if necessary adjust for towing purposes.

Check that the tow ball and hitch are

properly coupled.

Check that all corner legs and jockey wheels

are fully withdrawn.

Check that jockey wheel is fully withdrawn,

if you have one.

Attach breakaway cable securely, dont just

drop it over the tow ball.

Check all external lights and indicators.

Ensure the trailer or caravan handbrake

is fully released.

Adjust towing mirrors.

Before setting off on your journey, always ensure
