Autumn 1 Gap Closing Practice pack
Autumn Half Term 2017 Work Pack – due Tuesday 31st October
2017On Wednesday 19th October 2017, you sat your Autumn 1 assessment on the topics listed
below:
Parts of circles
Area and circumference of circle
Area of sector and length of arc
Variation: direct and inverse proportion
Developing proof
In order to close gaps on the questions which you got wrong, your teacher has given you a RAG rating analysis.
You need to work through your Red areas first and then your Amber areas.
The process should be to:
Watch the Hegarty Maths clips the RAG rating tells you to
Make notes in your progress book of any relevant information, examples or formulae
Attempt the Hegarty Maths quiz in your progress book and on the computer
Complete the work in this pack as these are similar exam questions which you need to get correct
Note: you do not need to complete the pack for the questions which you achieved a green outcome for but more practice certainly will do no harm!
Getting this process right now will absolutely help you make progress and close necessary gaps leading up towards your GCSE.
Good luck – all of the maths team look forward to seeing these booklets on the first day in Autumn 2!
