NON-COATED STANDARD GRAY SPONGESoft, open cell, polyurethane foam provides excellentsupport and comfort. This foam has minimal attenuation,is fire retardant, and has been the industry standard for decades.

COATED STANDARD SPONGEThis is the same standard gray sponge outlined above, butis coated with a medical-grade, durable and easy-to-cleanvinyl surface that is resistant to blood, Betadine®, barium,alcohol, oils and other fluids. Attenuation is very low(edges may show, depending on techniques using low kVp).Ideal for sterile environments.
