12 Steps• 1. Wedge• 2. Center• 3. Drop the hole• 4. Check the

thickness of baseleave ½ inch

• 5. Undercut base & pull up walls

• 6. Shape the pot

• 7. Trim the rim, round

& smooth rim with paper towel

• 8. Remove water from inside of pot

• 9. Trim base• 10. Cut off from bat• 11. Write name on bat• 12. Clean wheel, tools &

turn off wheel.

Trimming

• 1. Measure the thickness of the base & where foot should go

• 2. Place on wheel & center• 3. Draw the foot• 4. Trim the middle of foot• 5. Trim the outside of foot• 6. Smooth with rib & smooth needle tool hole• 7. Write your name on the bottom• 8. Sweep around wheel & make sure all tools &

stilts are put away
