NON-RIDING ACTIVITIESFor those needing a rest from the saddle we can also organize a number of additional activities :

Beadle Craft Workshop & Shop on Triple B Ranch Established in 1998, Beadle employs young people from the farm community. Skills training in leath-er and bead work is given in-house to an extremely high standard. Items available in the shop include a selection of leather belts and sandals, bags, braided riding chaps, half chaps, beaded dog collars, browbands, keyrings, photo frames and mirrors, a selection of fabric tableware, cushions and jewelry. We can drive you over any time or please ask for directions as it is a short 10 min walk away.

Farm tour. You are welcome to join Charles Baber, The Triple B pioneer ranch-er for 70 years, who will take you on an informative and insightful tour of the Ranch. You will learn about Bonsmara Cattle, the crop history of the farm, and the Baber family legacy. The cost for 4 people is R 100.00 per person, for 3 people it is R 130.00 p.p, for 2 people it is R 160.00 p.p, and for 1 person alone it is R 320.00 p.p.

Lehlabile Cultural tour. Four prominent elderly ladies from the farm community conduct a tour of their homes, the creche and school within their community. This tours gives visitors a great insight into local lifestyles, food, decor, song and dance, and oral history. Optional lunch at Pedi homestead. R30.00 pp tour only, R80.00 pp tour and traditional lunch.

SundaySunday service. Those interested are very welcome to join us at the local Church Service (non-denominational) held every Sunday at 9.30am. Dress is very infor-mal, dirty jods and chaps are more than adequate! Should you want to go to the service we can also arrange for an early short ride before leaving.

Boschdraai Gospel Revival choir. Made up of the youth from the farm commu-nity, the Boschdraai Gospel Revival choir sing beautiful African gospel music. Their music is lively and inspiring and worth listening to over a sundowner at the pool. The choir also ahve their own CD for sale, so you can take a piece of Africa back home with you. R300.00 per performance.

Night Star Safaris The lack of light pollution here in the bush makes it the per-fect location for astonomy. An evening with Dr. Phil Calcott is not only educt-aional, but entertaining and incredibly interesting. Learn about the constellations, how stars are born and die and and see the planets. Looking at the stars is one thing, but viewing them through a whopping telescope with someone who actu-ally knows what you a re looking at, is fantastic! R150.00 pp.
