RECTORY OFFICE HOURS: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
SICK CALLS: Emergencies – Please call the Rectory. Hospital Visitation – The
Parish Priests will be happy to visit any Parishioner who is hospital-
ized. Please contact the Rectory, since hospitals do not contact the Rectory.
SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM: The Sacrament of Baptism is administered most
Sundays at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements are made in advance at the
Rectory. Sponsors must provide proof of eligibility by a letter from their
respective Pastors. First-time parents attend a Pre-Jordan Meeting prior to
Baptism, which is arranged at a mutually convenient time.
SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE: Arrangements must be made with the parish at
least six months before the date of the Wedding.

Fall CYO SPORTS CYO FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION is now open. All CYO Activities are open to parish members. Proposed sports are BOYS Football gr 5-6, gr 7-8, GIRLS Field Hockey gr 5-6, +7-8, COED, Soccer gr 5-6+7-8, Cross Country gr 1-8; Practice for these sports will begin in MID-Late August. All participants must be registered prior to practicing with teams.

St. Timothy’s 90th Anniversary Closing Celebration
Saint Timothy Parish in Mayfair, Philadelphia, rich in a
vibrant heritage and strong tradition, has been
commemorating the 90th anniversary of its founding with
a year-long celebration, beginning in October, 2017 and
ending in October, 2018. The closing of our 90th
anniversary observance will take place on Sunday,
October 14, 2018, with a Solemn Concelebrated Mass
celebrated at 12:00 Noon in the upper church. The
principal celebrant will be Most Reverend Timothy C.
Senior, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, and the homilist
will be Reverend Monsignor Daniel J. Sullivan, Vicar for
Clergy for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and a son of
Saint Timothy Parish. A gala 90th anniversary banquet will
follow at the Regal Ballroom, 5411 Oxford Avenue,
where we will continue our celebration with cocktails,
dinner, and dancing. We cordially invite and encourage
all present and former Saint Timothy parishioners, as
well as all graduates of Saint Timothy School, to join us
for this historic occasion. Tables of ten will be able to be

heaven and it is a holy day of obligation. Masses are
Tuesday evening at 6PM and Wednesday August 15
at 7:30AM, 12 noon, and 7:00 PM

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is sponsoring an 11-day pilgrimage throughout Italy for the canonizations of Pope Paul VI and Archbishop Oscar Romero. Pope Francis will preside at the ceremonies at the Basilica of Saint Peter on Sunday, October 14th.
Pilgrims will leave Philadelphia Friday, October 12th and return Monday, October 22nd. Registration for this pilgrimage is due by July 6th. In addition to the Canonization Mass, the journey will feature a private tour of Saint Peter’s Basilica, a visit to the Catacombs to see where the early Christians buried their dead and prayed in secret, a tour of the Vatican Museums including the Sistine Chapel, day trips to the cities of Orvieto, Assisi and San Giovanni, site of the tomb of Saint Padre Pio, and a walking tour of major Roman attractions including the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain as well as other historic landmarks.
