STOP THE THRUWAY AUTHORITY’S 45% TOLL HIKE! Dear Taxpayer:

I was the first Legislative Leader to speak out against the Thruway

Authority’s proposed 45% toll hike on trucks and said it would hurt

trucking businesses, drive up prices for consumers and send a message

that New York isn’t open for business. Make no mistake: a 45% Thruway

toll hike will damage New York’s economy and cost jobs.

We can STOP the proposed 45% Thruway toll hike on trucks if we stand up,

speak out and raise our voices. Here are 3 things you can do to put the

brakes on this toll hike:

1. Contact the Thruway Authority and tell them to STOP the toll hike (the deadline for all public comments is Friday, August 24):

2. Attend one of the Thruway toll hike public hearings this week and speak out:

Buffalo: August 16, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Syracuse: August 17, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Location: Double Tree by Hilton Hotel

3. Contact your State Legislator and tell them to go on record OPPOSING the Thruway Authority’s proposed 45% toll hike:
