The Touching Tiny Lives Foundation

A non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and

families struggling with the ravages of HIV/AIDS in rural

Lesotho. TTL provides essential care to severely malnourished, critically ill or

orphaned babies who would otherwise not survive. TTL’s 2,500 annual

outreach visits provide health services, nutritional supplements, medication

and social support to children, pregnant women and caregivers in their

villages.

Chelan’s ties to TTL include Paula Fitzpatrick and Dr. Amy

Ellingson. Dr. Ellingson is a governing board member & medical director who

has worked in Lesotho and Paula has traveled to TTL as a volunteer. The Lake

Chelan Rotary Club has been an invaluable support for our cause as well. The

Chelan to Africa Benefit Concert typically provides 10% of the annual TTL

budget, filling a critical need and saving children’s lives. To learn more about

THRIVE Chelan Valley

Thrive Chelan Valley is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit

organization dedicated to ensuring that all youth in the Lake Chelan valley

have everything they need to reach their full potential. Programs include

Thrive Cares (providing tangible items that are both immediate and bigger full

potential asks to remove barriers), Thrive Mentoring (adult and peer

one-on-one mentoring), and Thrive Teen Center (evening center providing

warm meals and a safe place for teens to gather). To learn more about Thrive
