I) Check Battery
Operation: Using a Flat head screwdriver, unlock and remove the seat. Locate the batteryharness, and unplug the connector. Use a volt-meter to check battery
condition on the battery connector side.
Step (1)
Turn and unlock these two plastic screws
Unlock position
Step (2)
CAUTION : Disconnect the battery before repairing

Unplug the battery connector (WHITE) underneath the seat

Reading Judgment: 11.5 V ~ 13.4 V – Good condition
10.0 V ~ 11.0 V – Proceed to Recharge
9.5 V – Battery to be recharged. If after the recommendedrecharging time, voltage has not increased, the Battery needs replacement
Lower than 9.0 V – Battery needs replacement

II) Check Fuse Condition
Operation: Check the fuse check window on the battery to determine if the fuse has blownout. Keep the battery connected and turn on the unit with power switch. The
signal light will stay “ON” when there is a short circuit to battery.

If the signal light is “ON”, the fuse has blown out. The battery should be replaced.

III) Check Wiring Connection
Operation: There are three positions of connections that should be checked.
A. Foot Pedal : Remove the Foot Pedal from the vehicle to check the wiring
Step (1)
Using a screwdriver, snap the Foot Pedal off from left bottom side of the vehicle body
Check the connecting block wiring is properly in place

Snap the Foot Pedal back on top after checked and/or repaired

B. Shifter : Remove the seat (see Pg 3). Locate the Shifter below the seat, unscrewand lift it up to check the connection

Unscrew the holding plate underneath the seat
Step (2)
Lift up the shifter to access the connection

Check the connecting block wiring is properly in place

C. Dashboard : Follow the procedures below to access the wiring connection in the dashboard.
Step (1)
Unscrew and remove the Steering Wheel from the left hand side
Remove from the Steering Column

Unscrew these two screws to remove the Dashboard
Step (4)
Remove the Dashboard by lifting it up from the bottom

While removing the Dashboard, pay attention to the latch lock between the windshield frame and mirror holder (both sides)

After the dashboard detached, locate and check the 4-Pins plug any loose connection or not
If the problem is addressed and fixed, reverse above steps to re-assemble back the vehicle. Otherwise, unplug the connector and continue as belowwhen you need to check the connections inside Dashboard.

Unscrew these five screws to remove the windshield first

Then unscrew these eight screws to access the connections inside

Power switch of Dashboard bottom
2-Pin (Black/Orange)
for main power
2-Pin (White)
for speaker
Reverse above procedures to re-assemble back the vehicle

IV) Door Replacement
Operation: Follow below steps to remove and replace the door.
Step (1)
Unscrew the screw of the door
Step (2)
Remove the Door assembly

Before put on the new door, make sure the Tab
of dashboard is assembled properly; the screw
post should be at the same level of tab surface
Attach and secure the new door to finish the replacement

V) Gearbox Replacement
Operation: Follow below steps to take apart the gearbox completely for replacing.
Use flat screwdriver to unlock the snaps and remove the rim

Use the plastic wrench provided to remove the nut on rear axle
Slide the rear wheel off of the axle

Release the truck bed by unscrewing these two screws

Unscrew to easily lift the truck bed and access gearbox harness
For units with the last 6 digit of Serial Code greater than 003488, skip Steps 5 - 8.
Remove the seat.

V) Gearbox Replacement

Lift up the truck bed and find the gearbox harnesses underneath
Unplug the appropriate side of gearbox you need to replace

Yellow connector with Black/Red wiring and White sticker on it, this is for the Driver (left) side.
White connector with Blue/White wiring and Red sticker on it, this is for Passenger (right) side.

Slide the gearbox out from axle

Replace the old gearbox with the new one
Step (11)
Install the gearbox on the axle and put the connector through
the hole. Plug the connector together with the same color
connector in the main harness.
Reverse above procedures to re-assemble the vehicle
