The project aims to visually eliminate the boundaries between S’Excorxador center and plaza. It becomes a connector of different speeds, activities and experiences, treating the surface of the square with different materials according to their hardness determine the type of activity to deve-lop and that will shape different landscapes. The rocky landscape made with concrete pavement and concrete precast geometrical furniture coexists with and the forest landscape with timber fl ooring and rubber soft furnishing with green elements and a beach landscape made of fl ooding areas and springs. Continuos overlapping areas create hybrid landscapes.

The aim of the project is to fi t different programs of parking, retail and a dwelling providing them all with natural light and cross ventilation. The plot cedes public space in order to give public access to the retail space in its front. The program arrangement follows its logic being the most public at ground fl oor level and the most private on the higher ones. The dwelling is designed as a folded space due to the possibility to gain a mezzanine fl oor, double height space and give interior access to the roof to enjoy the mountain views. From the materials of the house, scale has been worked out, the socle is made by an extended slate wall that is also the limit to the plot, light is given through its top windows into the retail space which detaches from the main volume of the house above. The fold of the roofi ng is refl ected through the material continuity from the facade to the roofi ng and through a wall window which becomes skylight.

The building is inserted into the plot, adapted to the morphology of the place through a series of courtyards that save the existing pine trees and cut the continuity of the different rooms, a continuos space relate all of them allowing fl uid and continuous movement.The house is closed on itself like a half moon around a central outdoor space which focuses on the views and the south east orientation. On the inside the enclosure is much more transparent than on the outside, where the walls are opaque and the rooms get light through the lattice walls that give privacy to the rooms of the courtyards. This allows solar gain in winter and sun protection in summer by lattices and setbacks. The house is cladded by a continuos limestone, the lattice ads refl ection to the house by introducing glazed tiles and glass.

The project idea is based on meeting a set of goals to improve social housing:Increase the relationship between interior and exterior of the apartments by providing an external common public area and individually to the apartments, terraces and canopies. Havinng a variety of housing solutions which gives more fl exibility for users to gain access to the type of housing that best suits your situation.The facade responds to the climatic conditions of the Mediterranean; is protected by a second mobile skin of lattice, that change positions according to user needs and protects them from direct sunlight in summer, being moved in the winter for solar gain. All apartments have cross ventilation and have two different orientations.

The fl oors are structured around a vertical core in concentric programatic rings from the interior to the exterior. Firstly the humid zones are located called “serving areas”, second the area of communication and access, and third the rooms to stay called “served areas”.The facade is made by two layers which fold in zig zag terraces and canopies following various twists allowing to focus the dwellings toward the correct orientation and the views and give independence to the different dwellings. These twists act as a parasol protecting from the sun radiation the glass inner skin, the external sking is opaque. The changing colors of the glass are of a range of blue and green, white and gray increasing the privacy of homes and in context with the neighbourghood.

The organizational structure of the block is done through programmatic rings which respond from the inside to the outside to : green ring, external circulation, humid serving areas and external served areas.The aparments respond to the concept of “exchange with the environment” because the block is porous, the outer space enters into the block and blurs its perimeter along a gradient from bottom upwards, making the housing block recover the scale of the existing small blocks in Ibiza’s old town.It exploits the heat and sun protection respectively in winter and summer.

The aim of the project was to provide all the apartments with external facade, as well as to get parking area and retail space to the city. All the apartments pass throughout the building and are elongated with 4,55 m wide to 24 m long, grouped two by two around the vertical core and an internal courtyard which provides of natural light and ventilation. The external facade is made by continuos terraces that with consecutive layers get privacy to the apartments, the mouvable panels of louvres regulate the solar radiation, blue coulor balustrade contextualize the closeness of the sea and an interior completely foldable glass facade.The facade of the common courtyard is made of timber louvers which can be tilted forming a canopy.

The house is extended and restructured with the aim to have fl uid spaces open them up to the exterior and removing the partition walls. To do that only the exterior walls of the protected home were left and all the interior redone having to insert a new metal structure. The main external facade and the whole volume had to be preserved. The ground fl oor plan is open completely to the courtyard and is one single space where the public program is developed. The intermedium plan is organised around a hall which gives access to the sleeping rooms and bathroom. The attic is another open space which contains the master bedroom and multipurpose room. It gets light from three skylights.

The building is located within an established urban fabric in the center of Palma de Mallorca, surrounded by buildings of similar age (fi rst half of the s. XX.) And similar characteristics.The project involves the rehabilitation, replacement or repair of those elements of the building suffered damage and are in poor condition. The building dates from 1927, and there is a recent restoration that affects the structure. Restore items ranging from structural damage to beams with wood and concrete, to those on fi nished facade, roof and interior.

A new neighbourhood is required with different heights and densities. The project has the ambition to exploit the features of the site, an opens space with a big slope, which is limit between the forest and de city to the east and west, and has the railway on the north and a main road at the south. The settlement is organised in cross bands placed in diagonal with the contour lines that will allow to have wider areas of common spaces and reducing the slope and enhancing the views. At ground level the net-xus encourage people to walk across the site. The dwellings are formed by addition of different modules that relate phenomenologycally with the natural elements: wood, earth, fi re, air, water and meta and content a program, can act as fi lters and elements of dwelling extension and react with the meteorologial phenomenon.

The proposal become engrossed in the pine forest and the sunlight of the houses. They are implanted in forest clearings and the swaing movements they do, form extensions and recesses where the forest remains intact and the houses on it.The contact with the ground fl oor is very specifi c and other than that is used by the parking spots. The fi rst level interrelates all the modules with terraces and give access to the housing. The group is worked through housing modules in turn formed by typological cells fl at, semilevel height or dou-ble height. The dwelling responds to a sustainable control through two skins, one which isolates the housing from exterior and interior and another one which protects or allows sun radiance to come across and interfere with the fi rst one.

The object of the competition is planning an entire neighborhood, including schools, mosques, public space and 1250 homes. The urban fabric arranged is fractal. The pentagon of 5 meters on each side is the fi gure taken as the basic minimum unit housing development.The project aims to restore arable souk urban life and the fabric is extended as a mat-building throughout the territory. Hybrid tower units work as urban landmarks due to their power concen-trate multiple activities and to provide orientation in the urban settlement.All the low units are developed around a courtyard which provides the necessary privacy for the dwelling. The different typologies of housing are arranged by two different processes, growing horizontally or in height by the addition of pentagonal modules.

The idea is to create an urban fabric made of a porous mixed-use residential, retail and other needs neighbourhod. The density is desirable in order to create a sustainable city to save in infrastructure and ways of transport. The fabric of the housing will protect the streets from direct sun radiance.Baghdad’s house is organized around a courtyard. Is the main element of the house, acting as a family meeting place, giving privacy. The dwellings are stacked in different heights and developed around more public couryards, where the vertical cores will be placed. Parameters of density and heights have been set up in the city in order to comply with this, the more extended horizontally the block is the lower is goes, and on the other way round. The facades will be customised by the owners with glazed tiles.

The commission consisted in making a multipurpose classroom for the school which needed to be internally connected with the school and at the same time have a separate entrance from the street. The plot is elongated and one main goal of the project was to have natural lighting and cross ventilation which was achieved by having a whole translucent glass facade and skylights built in the roofi ng. The roofi ng will be used as a playground for children from the kindergarden and is connected to the school from the 2nd fl oor via a ramp. The materiality of the proposal is made of concrete as a frame that will allow the facade structure to be fi xed to.

The project takes the image, the atmosphere and the spatial concept of the interior of the Pacifi c atolls and islands of limestone formation characteristic of Southeast Asia, from where the temples of these areas were also inspired. Five towers emerge from the top of the hill overlooking the see and form a cluster interconnected by a square. The position among them varies, creating an as-ymmetrical set. Each tower is specialized in terms of function, formally equal but scaled according to the degree of representativeness and required program. The plaza is a space covered among the towers and is defi ned as a compressed space from which people access to the interior of the towers. Externally the plaza is a public space which can be fl ooded in different degrees or form a temporary stage with stands for a remembrance day.

The given plot is located in a park. The design intend is to incorporate the built as a pavillion where the limits are created by the construction as a fi lter that allows aged people to enjoy of the park from a quiet shelter. The program is arranges in concentric bands that create circuits. From inside-out: The centerpiece is a water tank fountain and a garden, the circuit 1 is the of residence area, the circuit 2 is the exercise zone, the circuit 3 in the outermost part of the building, are loca-ted services, offi ces and staff, the external circuit is around the day center and provides access to the park, areas for adults and children mixed. The construction is defi ned by light construction, bolted construction and easy to dismantle. The external cladding is made of vertical wood strips that merge with the landscape of tree trunks and vegetation.

The design aims to integrate the new building to the surrounding rural and residential low height, so the idea is to distribute the program on ground and mainly on the fi rst fl oor, extending into the plot and creating a umbráculo, which is a refuge in the days of hot sun and rain, personalize the playgroun and creating a game of empty and full.There is a gradation of playground scales ranging from small individual courtyard class, to the union of several ones, until the larger playground with sports courts, a much bigger and open.

Phase 1: The project presents a series of strategies to develop on an urban stripe of the city center of Santiago de Querétaro adjacent to the river. The proposal deals with the urban arrangement of the urban fl uxes that run parallel to the river by folding the surface and creating programatic folds. In both sides of the stripe by creating two NODES the city gets free of the massive use of the car.Phase 2: The project is focused in a node defi nition, understood as a hybrid building, designed to respond with a continuos transparent front to the city scale and with a discontinuos and open side to the river.The building will conect using ramps at different levels with commertial use other buildings plugged into them with uses as different as retail, restauration, sport, auditorium, cinema, library, etc...

The main goal of the project is to achieve a public space in this exceptional site wich connects the people coming from the sea, the bastion and the Old Town. To do that the building is a big interconnector completely accesible from the ground fl oor plan and continuous up to the roofi ng, allowing the plot to be completely permeable and allowing the access of pedestrian at all levels.The building is designed as a ramp that folds on itself by staying intertwined and whose levels are walkable on foot. The perspects are varying when the point of view shift and people go downwards from the roofi ng to the bottom. This route can be interrupt and redirect, for it there are vertical cores drilling project and can place you on another level and program.

The main goal of the project is to atract citizens to a new cultural public space taking advantage of the urban conditions of the site, by creating a new urban landmark and giving the citizen a new urban experience. The site is located in a boundary plot of the city, between a motorway and the city centre. The house of culture adapts the shape of a large polyedric chameleonlike ark, that is perceived as an urban screen from the motorway and from the city, it wolf the visitor down with a large public staircase that lift the citizen to a viewpoint to the traffi c river fl ow.It competes with the rest of the buildings, no in height but in representativeness on the shape and proportions as well as by its polyhedral mutant skin.

One of the objectives of the project is to build the city. The building is condensed into the street with a linear piece that brings together the public uses in need of services: ancillary areas and access for loading and unloading.The program is organized in separate packages within a “comb” structure, which allows the development of different playgrounds linked directly to the classroom. The project is fully modulated, which allows to raise a building quickly, effi ciently and inexpensively from standard prefabricated dry joint systems.

The project is inspired by the formations of the coves of the coast of Cala D’or, which is formed by protrusions of land or incoming sea. Being a parcel of considerable size and having to accommodate many different buildings, we decided to split the program and host it in separate buildings, so that the plot was organized in pointing toward the edges and turn on the plaza. Among the buildings and its center lies a shaded deck overlooking the square and make an interaction space for all buildings. Each building takes over the surrounding space and uses it as a public extension of their own functions.

It shows an abstraction of the towers of the project’s Contest Memorial to the Victims of Tsunami, converted into fi ve spotlights and information.The space is eight meter high and these fabric structures are suspended from the ceiling at a height of two meters above the viewer. The space remains dark and is only lighted by the bea-mers. The installation simulates the proportion of the original towers, which have a varied height of 30 and 17 meters, the relationship and the position among them.These structures project graphical information of the project with photomontages, 3D collage, drawings, diagrams, a video and the 1:150 scale model.

The project consist on designing a doll’s house for the 50th anniversary of the Barbie’s doll.The project has two main goals : to encourage children’s creativity and to promote recycling as an educational measure of awareness to the environment.The house is designed as a game of pieces made out of the proper cardboard boxes of toys that are recycled and used as cutouts. Each cardbox will be designed to be a new module that will extend the house and will allow the housing piece exchange. The game is adapted to different children ages. To learn is understood as a playful game merging entertainment games of our childhood: building blocks, stickers and cutouts and introducing innovation through an internal game of points that wins the child who makes the most sustainable house.

The exhibition tells the micro project made in Morocco in the same province of Azilal, the capital of 30,000 for urban development to improve local life and stimulate the economy by attracting tourists.It offers a journey made as a“fi lm” told frame by frame and refl ects the cultural immersion in the area , the dialogue with the local institutions and the proposals made. As a display rolls of paper ar used, cardboard tubes for the supports and double corrugated cardboard were acting as benches, all cheap materials and 100% recyclable.

To make the refurbishment of a traditional dwelling in different rooms the whole interior need to be torn down only leaving the perimetral walls and replacing the internal existing structure of bearing walls by metallic pillars. The design is focused in the insertion of a furniture that will do the partitions between the rooms and the common area, between room to room and will contain the different pieces of mobile furniture to fold and unfold by the users and also, it will become a mezzanine.The ambience is going to be given by the hydraulic fl oor tiles existing in the fl oor that need to be replaced and the drawing which is printed in the furniture in different depths in order to become a lattice work and to be able to incorporate artifi cial light and forced ventilation in the rooms.

The competition’s aim is to design the exhibition of the Mallorcan Architectural Awards, in the public space of Palma due to the opening of the “nit de l’art”. The proposal should choose among one or several sites.The proposal reclaims the city as a playful experimental fi eld with the aim to bring clo-ser the architecture to the city user, so the idea is that by means of an expansive exhibition through the city, the archi-invaders are going to be placed in the crossroads of the paths to the galleries of art and they are going to act as signage. The archi-invaders contain one image of the piece of achitecture. The base of all the archi-invaders is a big ship which will show in different screens all the architectural pieces. A game is set up to connect people and architecture, people will have to fi nd out the archi-invaders and take one picture with it and send it to the big nave where all the people’s pictures will be exhibited.

The Plastic Unit is developed as a pavillion inside a big private medical centre, the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre, with the aim to be a specialized unit to provide surgery for the sunk cleft and harelip. The arrangement of the program is designed in independent and parallel pieces pieces which are the served pieces and internal ones which are the serving pieces, in such a way that they form a square in plan and allow the layout of public and private functions around an internal courtyard. The design has taken into account the climatic conditions, cross ventilation and protection from direct solar radiation, for which a double skin has been design and the section has been worked out.

The project responds to the emergency of how to manage the integral development of habitability in a territory affected by fl oods linked to climate change by activating a new sutainable productive cycle, using two main tools as participatory design and bamboo. This cycle will re-establish a new balance in three aspects: environmentally, through reinforcing the territory and creating a new landscape of bamboo; economically, encouraging the existing and new activities, as the ecotourism and craftsmanship; and socially, training people in all the different phases in bamboo treatment from planting to construction. The individuals will gather around in cooperatives to plant the bamboo in the fl ooding territories and beside the swamp areas, will form the vocational schools built in bamboo and will also use bamboo for dwellings and product exportation, to let the cycle to restart.

The project responds to the need to design a house with local materials in Camboya, to be adaptable to different contextual situations, in an urban, a mountain, a fl at or lake shore area and to be able to coexist with the monsoon fl ooding. The price should be lower than 2000 dollars. The dwelling in an urban scenario forms urban dwelling groups or in isolated areas is on its own. The house is designed as a maximum volume of dwelling, with the structure and façades completed in bamboo, raised from the fl oor by piloti which allow to include different uses as per needs (storage, kitchen, workshop, lo-cal, housing extension,,,), with exterior porches, wide roofi ngs and breathable façades protected with mosquito nets. Flexibility is planned through the construction of internal mezzanines and partitions. The house is self suffi cient, with a dry toilet, rainwater collection, low energy consume devices,etc..

The project responds to the architectural integration of the paper factory to the landscape by working in three different scales of perception of the factory: at the close scale, the idea is to create green visual barriers with vegetation; at the medium scale, the design is based in the volum of the factory which is de-fragmentated by air-ventilated façades of trees imprint refl ective aluminium perforated sheets and at a far scale, the towers are the most predominant elements so the design is based on those to remove the idea of factory by creating elevated gardens with water sprinklers and night lighting with the idea to translate vi-sually as if it was a scenario the amount of energy produced dayly in the factory by a variation of the night lighting intensities. The concept behind the proposal is to make visible the sustainable commitment of the factory in three areas: the social , by creating common knowledge regarding the activities in the factory by allowing the people to visit the factory; the economical, the factory creates jobs and environmental, with everything.
