Transgression:
deliberately break or violate a law, breach of command or rebellion

“Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done evil in Your sight” (Ps 51: 4)
Iniquity:
Crookedness, perverseness, moral distortion. Not an action, but a character of
action

“Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.” (Ps 51: 5)
