LIGHTING Roadway and Trail Lighting

MnDOT Cultural Resources Guidance• Existing Bridge - accurately reproduce the original light standards

• New Bridge - design new lighting that will complement the lighting on the historic bridge, while not overshadowing it

New Bridge “Base” Design• MnDOT Standard Light Poles

• 35’ Tall “Cobrahead” Style, LED

• Recommended location - interior barrier between the trail and roadway

• Spacing - approximately 130-150 ft
