HOLLYWOOD: Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center announced plans to invest $200 million in a hospital expansion. The first phase of the plan will be a new emergency department that will increase the size of the department from 11,000 square feet to 26,000 square feet and increase beds from 20 to 26. The first phase will also add a 650-spot parking structure. The hospital expects to begin construction later this year and complete the project by 2019.

EXECUTIVE: Frank Cracolici was named chief executive and president at St. Vincent Medical Center last year.
