There are now more flights per day from Ho Chi Minh City and
Hanoi to Nha Trang. Vietnam Airlines flies four times daily from
Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang and three times daily from Hanoi
to the beach destination in Vietnam. Facts and figures wise,
each flight has a capacity of 162, translating to 1,134 potential
tourists per day and up to 315,252 on an annual basis.
Once direct international flights to the province kick off, these
numbers will pale in comparison with the explosion of tourist
numbers. In short, there is not much time before this exclusive
beach destination starts to become mass market. So why wait?

Go fishing with the localsWith many of the locals working as fishermen, what better way to be immersed in the local culture, and yet enjoy the freshest catch by going along with one of the fishing boats out to see.
Nha Trang BeachA visit to Nha Trang is not complete without a visit to the beach, much akin to visiting Hong Kong and not having Tim Sum. Unlike the beaches in the more mass market beach destinations of Bali and Phuket, the Nha Trang’s beaches are relatively unscathed. Take this opportunity to enjoy this haven while you can, as once international direct flights become available, you can be sure that tourist number will soar.

Long Son Temple and the White BuddhaFounded in the late 19th century, the Long Son Temple has a magnificent entrance and roof that are both are adorned with breathtaking dragons. Behind the Long Son Pagoda, is a huge white Buddha seated on a lotus blossom at the top of the hill. The platform around this huge statue provides wonderful views of Nha Trang province.

Ponagar Cham Towers
Ponagar Cham TowersA definite must-visit for ethnic Chinese and Vietnamese Buddhists come to pray and make offerings, the Ponagar Cham towers were built between the 7th and 12th centuries. The site was first used for worship as early as the 2nd century AD and continues to have a religious significance in modern day Vietnam.
Vinpearl Amusement ParkNha Trang’s answer to Singapore’s Universal Studios, the 200,000sqm Vinpearl Amusement Park consists of many modern and unique large-scale facilities and is actually comparable to the leading entertainment parks across the region and the world.
