Sportsday You will be aware that Sharon Langton injured herself last week. You will (like all of us here at school) be delighted to hear that although her injury is serious, it is on the mend, but it does mean that she will not be in school everyday. Get well soon Mrs Langton!

Year 6 Leavers We say a fond farewell to our 6 Year 6 children next Friday. On Thursday following the Leavers Assembly we will be hosting a BBQ for the children

from 3.30pm - 5.30pm. If any parents of the Year 6 children would like to join us from 5pm

then they would be made very welcome.

Governors Lunch Two of our Governors visited school today and had lunch with the

children. They were very complimentary about the children and of course the lovely

lunch cooked by our amazing cook Alison. And finally…As this year draws to a close I would like to thank the PTFA, parents, staff and governors for the

support that they have given the school over the last few months. You will know by now some of the issues that schools are having to deal with in terms of financial challenges. The impact of these challenges is dealt

with deftly by the wonderful staff around me and for that I am very grateful. Our children are amazing; despite the challenges that they too have faced, they have still achieved brilliant results this year and that is a

real testament to how hard they have worked. I am proud to be your headteacher and look forward to

another successful year.
