On January 28, 2020, the City Council of the City of Derby, Kansas (the “City”) passed an ordinance entitled:

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE STAR BOND FINANCING PROJECT PLAN FOR THE Derby STAR Bond Project District.

Ordinance No. 2422 (the “Ordinance”) amends the STAR Bond Fi-nancing Project Plan for the Derby STAR Bond Project District (the “Project Plan”) which further modifies the scope of the major commercial entertainment and tourism area, adds a major multi-sport athletic com-plex and modifies related infrastructure improvements described in the STAR Project Plan. A complete text of the Ordinance may be obtained or viewed free of charge at the office of the City Clerk, Derby City Hall, 611 N. Mulberry Rd, Suite 300, Derby, Kansas 67037. A reproduction of the Ordinance is available for not less than 7 days following the publication date of this Summary at www.derbyks.com.

ORDINANCE NO. 2423

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE SUPPLEMENTATION AND RECODIFICATION OF THE DERBY MUNICIPAL CODE.

WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the City of Derby, Kansas is authorized by K.S.A. 12-3014 and 12-3015 to periodically supplement and recodify the ordinances of general application of the City, and to provide for publication of the same in loose-leaf book form;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF DERBY, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to assemble all ordinances of the City of general application having an effective date on or after January 1, 2019, but not later than December 31, 2019; to have such ordinances edited and consolidated as a supplement to the current Derby Municipal Code; and to present the Derby Municipal Code as supplemented to the governing body for adoption.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force from and after its passage and publication in the official City newspaper.
