Mike Olsons early ski and surf influ-enced wide nosed, long contact deep sidecut resort riding focused shapes were radically different than the surf influenced powder snowboards of the time. Today, 30 year old Gnu shapes that were met with skepticism in the 80s look just like modern snowboards. 0ur old boards look like new boards.
