TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR OUTDOOR TYPE THREE PHASE, 11/0.433 KV ALUMINIUM WOUND SEALED TYPE DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER OF 25, 63 & 100 KVA RATING 1.0 SCOPE: This specification covers oil immersed naturally cooled three phase, 50 Hz, double wound outdoor conventional Aluminium Wound distribution transformers of capacity 25, 63 & 100 KVA, 11/0.433 KV for use on systems with nominal voltage of 11 KV. 2.0 APPLICABLE STANDARDS: Unless otherwise modified in this specification, the distribution transformers shall comply with the latest versions of REC specification 11/1976 and / or IS: 1180 and IS:2026 and latest amendments thereof. 3.0 RATINGS: 3.1 KVA RATINGS: The standard KVA ratings shall be 25, 63 & 100 KVA. 3.2 RATED FREQUENCY: The rated frequency shall be 50 Hz. 4.0 TAPS: No taps are to be provided in these transformers. 5.0 PERMISSIBLE FLUX DENSITY AND OVER FLUXING: Flux density at rated voltage and frequency shall not exceed 1.69 Tesla.
