2. There is keen competition for places in ITE
Nitec. You must participate in the Main
Application Phase, else your chances of
gaining a place in ITE will be greatly reduced.
3. Students need to exercise the full 12 choices
and include less popular options to maximise
the chances of a successful posting. (see pg 10
of ITE admission booklet for Nitec)
1. 4N(T) to ITE
Sec 4N(T) students with 0 or 1 N-level subject pass
will be given the option to enrol in the enhanced

Letter for school leaver (addressed to student) and
1 copy of eNFP Invitation Letter for
parent/guardian (in multiple languages).

1. 4N(T) to ITE
Sec 4N(T) students with 0 or 1 N-level subject pass
will be given the option to enrol in the enhanced
Nitec Foundation Programme (e-NFP).
You MUST apply for the eNFP or 3-Year Nitec course, applicants
will always be considered first for 2-Year Nitec courses before
being considered for eNFP courses. Hence, there is no penalty or
disadvantage for applicants who apply for the eNFP in addition
to their existing application choices.
The e-NFP courses, have a different pool of applicants and so it
will be easier to get into the course that the school leaver is
interested in.
The additional eNFP year will be used to develop literacy and
numeracy skills so applicants have a better overall chance at
completing the Nitec programme and obtaining a Nitec
certificate
1. 4N(T) to ITE
Students who have been offered at least one Nitec
course or the e-NFP must take it up.
If you have difficulties in the application process,
please approach your Form Teachers for help. The
school will make available computers for you if you
do not have access to one.
Please apply for ITE by 21 Dec (Mon) 5pm.
