Rustenburg – The Setsokotsane service delivery celebration as ad-vocated by the North West Premier, honourable Supra Mahumapelo, with the objective to ensure that govern-ment services are brought closer to people and expedited. The idea is for government to continue to renew, re-brand and reposition the North West

province. The service delivery pro-gram is in Rustenburg, from 13 – 24 June 2016.The program comprising of various government departments, will spread to all wards of the Rustenburg Local Municipality.“The Municipality will focus spe-cifically on issues of registration

of work-seekers and career infor-mation, youth outreach programs, career guidance and employment counselling, crime, drug and human trafficking awareness sessions, com-memoration of youth month, the fix-ing of illegal electricity connections, grass cutting on side-walks and open spaces, street cleaning, refuse re-

moval, installation of missing road signage, repair of street lights and water leaks. Residents are thus in-vited to visit various places where the program will be run, as informed by the Ward Councillors,” the Execu-tive Mayor of Rustenburg, Cllr. Mpho Khunou said.

Rustenburg Local Municipality: “We are currently experiencing a challenge with the trucks operating in the Waste Management-unit. The backlog will be sorted swiftly, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused,” Thapelo Matebesi, the RLM Manager of Com-munications confirmed.
