The Municipality will not accept any bid received late. Please note that no bid documents will be given to couriers unless the courier company is in possession of a letter on an official letterhead, confirming on behalf of the company the full details of the specific bid document to be collected, as well as the payment of the full amount payable for the bid required. All bids will be evaluated in accordance with the Supply Chain Policy of the Rustenburg Local Municipality, PPPFA and other related legislation. Bids will remain valid for 90 days. An updated record of payment of rates, taxes and services to the relevant municipality for director/s and the company must be attached. Failure to do so will invalidate the bid submitted. The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted and the Municipality reserves the right to accept the whole or part of any bid. The Municipality reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as indicated in the technical specifications. The RLM is not obliged to award this bid to a bidder scoring the highest points or the lowest price, in this regard, preference will be given to Rustenburg-based companies or companies that form JVs or subcontract at least 25% of their work to Rustenburg-based companies, as an objective criteria contemplated in section 2(1)(f) of the PPPFA. Residents are thus in- vited to visit various places where the program will be run, as informed by the Ward Councillors,” the Execu- tive Mayor of Rustenburg, Cllr. Mpho Khunou said.
