Combined Heat and Power (CHP)Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is the use of a single process to simultaneously generate

both electricity and useful heat. It is one of the most common forms of energy recycling

Tri-Generation• Tri-Generation is the simultaneous production of electricity, heat and cooling from a

single fuel input • The "waste heat" by-product that results from power generation is harnessed, thus

increasing the overall efficiency of the system• A Tri-Generation system consists of a CHP engine/turbine and an Absorption Chiller
