Pro Labore Dei is a non-profitable (Charity) organization. It began May 1990, following God’s call to Sr. Stella-Maris in Nigeria being the Head-quarters. We have over twenty two branches in Nigeria—comprises over 4 schools, old peoples home, 3 main orphanages (over 100 children) and hundred fed daily. It has since spread to the United States of America, United Kingdom, Sierra Leone, Benin, Togo, Cameroon, Mali, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Ecuador, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Cambodia etc Our mission/apostolate is to feed the hungry, cloth the naked, shelter the homeless, nurse/treat the sick poor and the aged deserted by relatives, to visit the imprisoned, be mothers to the orphaned and the abandoned children, educate the young poor whose parents cannot send to school and bury the dead. As Pro Labore Dei moves and spreads to different tribes and Nations we seek out the particular needs of the poorest of the poor in that area and modify our work to meet the needs and the culture of the poor.

PRO LABORE DEI, helping the needy of our community:

working towards a brotherhood of man for the

love of God.

CLIENT A:She is 81 years old she has 2 orphaned grandchildren . To get food and clothes it is difficult, she has to beg and rely on some well wishers who sometimes bring her food. We are now sponsoring the children and providing the fam-ily’s basic need like food and cloth-ing. CLIENT B: She is 39 years old and HIV positive. She is unemployed and has no business to sustain her family’s basic needs. She is sick and 12 year old son is the one tak-ing care of her and his niece by doing odd jobs so that they can eat. Both children are not going to school. Their school fees works out to be $15 per term. Most especially Client B would like a little capital to start a small business which can provide funds for their basic needs.

Overview of Pro Labore Dei Mission In Cambodia In this part of the world within this few period of our stay, P.L.D has put smile on the face of many poor homes. Making their hopeless children to know what it feels like to have the maximum comfort and care they lacked in time past. Restoring the joy to their lives and ba-sic education .

EXAMPLE OF LIFE BEFORE PLD JAPANESE BRIDGE Most of the kids in this slum area do not go to Khmer school because they have to support their parents by picking garbage

EXAMPLE OF LIFE SINCE PLD P.L.D supports the poor parents with food. As for their kids, we teach them English and skills. Equipping the kids to find an easier life in future, and sponsor them so they can attend Khmer School like every other child.

These are our children in Cambodia– they became

orphans and homeless after the recent flood in Cambodia
