4There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 7Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

8To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

11All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and He distributes them to each one, just as He determines.

The Gift of Wisdom:

The ability to make decisions and give guidance in accordance to God’s will.

The Gift of Knowledge:

Supernatural understanding. The ability to know something that you should have no prior knowledge of in the natural.

The Gift of Faith:

The ability to trust and rely wholly on God and encourage others to also trust God, no matter the circumstances.

The Gift of Healing:

The miraculous ability to utilize God’s healing power to restore a person who is sick, injured, or suffering.

The Gift of Miracles:

The ability to perform signs and wonders that give authenticity to God’s Word and the Gospel message. This includes the ability to raise the dead as demonstrated in the New Testament.

The Gift of Prophecy:

The ability to accurately release and declare a current message from the Lord to a group of people or to an individual that blesses and edifies the recipient.

The Gift of Discerning of Spirits:

The ability to determine whether or not a message or event is truly the work of God, the work of the enemy, or the work of an individual or group of individuals.

The Gift of Tongues:

The ability to speak in an unknown language for the purpose of prayer and intercession, and sometimes for the purpose of directly communicating with someone who speaks a different language than you do.

The Gift of Interpreting Tongues:

A prophetic gift used in conjunction with gift of tongues for the purpose of speaking and communicating God’s word to an individual or congregation.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
