PREF CEAstrology is an ancient science, where the hidden

answers are brought to light by using different principles andcombination of planets. Great Indian astrologers have refmedthe principles in so many ways and have brought many newmethods of predicting. uman brain is like a wonderfulcomputer which throws light on so many new things whenwe go through the writings of great astrological seers oflndia.

This book is also a conception of my study of N aadiAstrology by Sage Brighu. The Naadi study made mecreative ih my thoughts because in Brighu Naadi the Ascendent(Lagna) is not taken into consideration. Starting from Aries(the head) to Pices (the feet) each sign has a different functionand signification and the planets Rahu and Kethu are calledas the family circle, or roads in front of the house in whichthe native took birth, etc. After going through this type ofstudy, it occurred to me to gather all the combinations andplace them in a format wherein it will be useful for allastrologers. n this method we can know the incidents whichare supposed to happen or occur in a native s life withoutmuch calculations and wit less usage of principles. With thesecombinations one can easily know the age of marriage, natureof profession, nature of parents, financial development of thenative, age at which the native will purchase land or house,death of the parents, etc. and these above mentionedhappenings can be known without much strain and calculationin a fraction of a second.

INTRODU TIONGreat Indian Astrologers after years ofexperience and

research have come out with certain combinations ofplanetarypositions. The permutations and combinations of theseplanetary positions have no limit. However, a broad outlineis given in reference to a few important combinations givenby ancient Hindu Astrological Seers.

The Hindu Astrologers have classified planets as beneficand malefic and divided the 12 houses starting from theascendent into the following groups:-

1. Trine: 1,5, and 9 Best at their position2. Quadrants: 1 4 7 and 10 Good in their disposition3. Tricks: 6 . 8,and 12 ad in their disposition

The remaining houses 2 3, and 11 are not so good.The interaction between good, best and not so good houseplanets will yield good results. But, the interaction betweentricks, good, best, and not so good houses, will not onlylessen the good result, but, gives bad results. nNaadi systemofprediction sage Brighu has not concentrated on AscendentLagna) on the other hand concentrates on Jupiter calling it a

life force. Hence, the author treats Jupiter as the ascendentand the 12 houseslbhavas therefrom. The above said trine,quadrants, triks, are also from the house/sign where Jupiteris posited.

After going through old writings of Sage Brighu the authorhas brought some yo gas which can be seen and predictedwithout any calculation or tracing the ascendants. Beforegoing through the combinations a few things have to becarefully borne in mind like, planets, enemies camp, exhaltion,debilation, signs signifying forest, signs signifying vegetation,fortune, intellectual etc. Before the study of planetarycombinations, the below mentioned planets and significationsare important.Sun - For father and promotion in services.Moon For mother and foreign travelMars Forbrothers I position in male horoscopes. Principles of aadiAccording to Sage Brighu the significations ofplanets

are a little different than the usual. nNaadi, Sage Brighu hasnot concentrated on Ascendant but concentrates on eachplanets placement very closely. Each planet when placed indifferent signs/houses reflects different dimensions of thequalities, for e.g , Mercury in Gemini says law and also atrader, Saturn n Virgo (Mercury s house) says business, Marsin Gemini says writer or printing etc.

n Naadi Jupiter which is considered as life force takes1year to travel from one sign to another, and while in transitJupiter will touch all the other planets like Sun, Moon, Mars,Mercury, etc., so, when the so called life force touches otherplanets, the lifeof an individual would experience the qualitiesof that planet which is in touch with Jupiter. For example,when Jupiter touches Venus in his rounds of transit it showsthat the native will get money- as Venus is significator ofmoney or when Jupiter touches Sun, you can be sure that thenative will earn good name and fame. The above saidprinciples can be utilised in prediction, but, with reference tobhavas which is counted from Jupiter. Jupiter in his firstround of transit among the 12 houses when touches Kethuthat is the yearofdanger for the individual, see for the numberof houses between Jupiter and Kethu and you can knownthe particular year, the danger is foreseen. Saturn is also an important point in Naadi system ofAstrology.
