The 11th IFSB Summit will be held on 21 and 22 May 2014. The Summit is preceded by pre-Summit events on 19 and 20 May 2014. The one and a half day Summit aims to bring together an experienced international group of chairpersons and speakers, with a projected audience of over 300 delegates from all sectors of the financial services industry across the globe. The theme of the 11th Summit is “New Markets and Frontiers for Islamic Finance: Innovation and the Regulatory Perimeter.” Among the topics that will be discussed are:

SESSIONThe Knowledge Sharing Partner Session (KSPS)

returns for the second time as part of the IFSB Summit.

The KSPS provides a platform for IFSB partner organisations to initiate

dialogue and discussions, present ideas as well as

exchange views, with the aim of promoting knowledge

sharing, partnership, and cooperation among the

members of the IFSB, and the Islamic financial services

community at large.

The Industry Development Session (IDS) which made its debut last year is now returning as part of the IFSB Summit. The IDS provides a platform for multilateral and private organisations to update the stakeholders on the latest global initiatives within their industry, for the benefit of the
