Alexander Springs in the center of Florida’s Ocala National Forest is a fresh water spring that bubbles up from
an underwater cave. The turquoise water below shows the heart of the Springs that is 25-28 feet deep at that point. From this place a river comes out
of the ground. The Spring puts forth 65 million gallons of 72 degree water a day.
Along with a bunch of squirrels we saw these animals our first day there.

DECEMBER 5TH WE RENTED A CANOE AND SPENT 3 HOURS ON THE ALEXANDER RIVER
WE SNORKELED AFTER THE CANOE RIDE.
THE SPRINGS IS A POPULAR DIVING SPOT.
WE RODE ON SUGAR SAND UNDER BLUE SKYS AND BILLOWING CLOUDS TO CLEARWATER LAKE.

THE NEXT DAY WE DID A BIKE RIDE FROM
On the last day we did a Nature Walk

THE TIMUCUANS WERE A PREHISTORIC CULTURE THAT LIVE HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS. SOME OF THEIR ANCESTORS ARE KNOWN AS TODAY AS THE SEMINOLE INDIANS.
