The guardrails of the MegaRail x-family are ideally suited for areas with risk of sand accumulation.

The systems can also be used as separation between traffic road and pedestrian or bicycle ways,

since there are no sharp edges to cause injury.

The main advantages of the systems are:

· no risk of sand accumulation (beam height of MegaRail xo/op is only 100 mm)

· installable on curved sections and on ramps

· installable on small sections (tested section is 49,5 m)

· connectable with bridge and concrete barriers

· can be used as double sided system

· easy transition from N2 to H1 and H2

Advantages over wire rope systems:

· no need of anchoring group

· no need of tensioning

· in case of accident less replacement of posts
