OPERATOR'S MANUAL Introduction

SECTION I

1 . PURPOSE AND SCOPE. These instructions are published for the information andguidance of the using arms charged with theoperation, maintenance and repair of this material. They contain descriptions of the majorunits and their function in relation to the othercomponents of the plow, as well as instructionsfor operation, inspection and maintenance.

2. Any reference to "Right" and "Left","Front" and "Rear" refer to the operator's"Right" and "Left", "Front" and "Rear" whenfacing in the same direction the plow will facewhen being used.

In the case of this particular model of plow,"Right" side is often referred to as "Moldboard"or "Furrow" side, and "Left" side as "Land-side".
