November 6th will be the 50th day of school.

We would like to celebrate this day by having a 50’s celebration in 1st Grade! We will have many fun activities planned for the students. The best part of it all is that the teachers and students are invited to dress up for this occasion! That’s right, you can pretend to be a 50’s boy or girl for this day.

Some ideas for clothes are :Boys- jeans rolled up, white t-shirts, hair slicked back, maybe even black leather jackets! Girls – poodle skirts (or any full skirt), saddle shoes or white shoes, jeans rolled up, big white shirts, hair in pony tail with a scarf, or a scarf around the neck!

Please don’t feel like you need to go buy something for this special day. Just throw something together with what you already have at home.We hope you let your child participate in this fun day by dressing them up. We will take care of the rest of the activities. Remember this will take place on Nov. 6th which is on Tuesday. We will send a reminder about this on Monday!
