Welcome to our 20-year class reunion! My, have things changed since graduating May 5,1991.

In this class booklet you will find classmates listed alphabetically by last name (maiden last name). If we were able to find address information and received updates, it is listed. If there wasn’t information provided, you’ll find any information that was retrieved from the 10-year reunion booklet in 2001.

As in 2001, you’ll also find information about those classmates who had passed away since we graduated: Tim Davis, Colleen Porter Hale and Jamie Proffit. We appreciate their updates and willingness to “keep in touch” with us this way. If you’re able to attend the Saturday night event, you’ll also see a table for Shannon Bryant and updates on her family. Her mother Janis Bryant is on Facebook and has shared more pictures of Shannon, so take a look.

At the back of this booklet, you’ll also find something fun and new - - we included those people who were classmates of ours through the years, but maybe didn’t “officially” graduate with us.

I work as an IT Project Manager at John Deere in Johnston, IA - - and I love my job!! I've gotten to work with people from all over the world and for the past 3-4 years have been working on projects related to our John Deere Crop Insurance. I also work at our church as the Nursery Coordinator. When we're not running boys around to sporting events, we're usually traveling between Savannah, Waverly IA, Sioux City and Minneapolis to visit our families. We also love camping, traveling and visiting Iowa City to cheer on our beloved Iowa Hawkeyes - black and gold is still in the blood!!

As you all know I had my son Daron while we were juniors in high school...he's now 21 and will be 22 in Oct. I had 2 more children after school...Dakota-18, and Cheyana-16. I have also been blessed with 5 step-children! Eddie Jr.-17, Brooke-15, Breawna-13, Preston-9, and Tyler-8. I have 2 beautiful grandchildren...grandson-Endell-3, and granddaughter-Malory-2, and am expecting my 2nd grandson, Drayden any day now! I'm very excited as being a grandma is AMAZING! I've worked in the medical field for the last 16 years as a Level 1 certified med aide with first aid and cpr certifications for a local company caring for individuals who are mentally and or physically challenged, doing both direct care and managing homes. For the last 2 years I've also worked for an RCF assisting rehabing forensic individuals from state hospitals and jail who have been found NGRI, back to the community after their time served. I have a great passion for what I do, however a work-comp injury has me on hold from working in this field while my shoulder heals and regains strength from a triple shoulder surgery. I am also an 8 year survivor of being free from cancer! :)

Tim drowned in a boating accident July 18, 1999. Tim was very loved by his family. Tim pursued a career in automotive painting. Tim was certified by several professional paint lines. He was considered tops in his field. One of Tim’s goals in life was to play professional ball. He played in 13 National Tournaments winning top honors in 1994. He was chosen First Round All American, won batting championships and first base honors several times. He was invited to play with the USA World Team twice. Tim was inducted into the ASA Hall of Fame in 1999. Tim also pursued and enjoyed boating, jet skiing, go-cart racing and liked to travel. Tim lived every day of his life to the fullest and enjoyed life with many friends. Tim was chosen to try out for the USA Men's Softball team, but he passed away before he could try out. The summer before he passed away he was inducted into the ASA Hall of Fame for his athletic abilities in softball.

Got out and moved to Springfield where I got on the Fire Department 13 years ago. I am now a Rescue Specialist. We are involved in all technical aspects of fire/rescue. High angle rope, confined space, trench, building collapse, hazardous materials, water rescue, and vehicle extrication are the specific disciplines that we specialize in. In 2001, after several years of contemplating more military time, I went back into the Navy as a reservist. Still in today with a total of 14 years of service. I am a field medic, and have spent most of the last 10 years with a USMC infantry battalion. Have two kids. Ashley age 15 and Caleb age 13. Still hunting and fishing as much or more than I did in high school. Scuba diving, mountain biking, snowboarding, swimming, and running are fillers between hunting and fishing trips. Kids are my company with most of these hobbies. They took their first trips to Kansas last year, and both shot their first wild ringneck pheasants. Ashley also shot her first Canada goose last December.

In ’98 I moved back to St. Joe and earned my Masters of Education in School Counseling from NWMSU. I worked as a counselor (yes, Mrs. Teeter) for 2 years at Central High School. In August 2000, my husband took an Assistant Baseball Coaching job at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA as the hitting coach. I am currently an elementary counselor in Stockton, CA. Since then, I’ve continued to work mostly in medical social work, but have moved about every year and a half. From KC, I moved to St. Louis to Fort Wayne, IN and most recently to Elsmere, KY (Northern KY-right outside Cincinnati). My husband, Casey and I met our junior year of college. Casey works for DANA Corporation and has been the main reason for the most of our moves. Casey and I were married Sept. 30, 2000 in KC. I am also a board member for Creative Arts Productions, which is a summer theater workshop for kids. Wow, how time has flown. My kids are now 15 and 12, and yes, it's not a surprise, getting taller than me. I'm proud to say they were honor students in school this year. Also, I have been Altec for nearly eight years. Just recently, I bought a very nice house in Savannah, which of course the kids love. About the only thing that's changed about me is that I'm starting to get a little buddha belly. It got it from my good cooking. Life has gotten so much better over the past 10 years, and the kids and I are very happy with the direction our lives are headed. I really look forward to spending time with my fellow classmates from ol' SHS. I hope to see everyone this weekend.

10306 NW 57th Terrace Parkville, MO 64152 [email protected] 816-806-3953 Since our last class reunion, following are a few highlights of what I have “been doing lately”: I’m proud to say I’ve survived, uh, I mean thrived, during a blissful 15 years of marriage to my lovely wife, and fellow ’91 graduate, Christina (Stone) Johnson. · I believe it was approximately a week after our 10 year class reunion I went to Colorado and summited my first 14er (a mountain whose elevation at the summit exceeds 14,000 feet above sea level). I did this with fellow ’91 graduate, Mike Cathcart, after which we went on to summit another five 14ers while he was still living in Denver over the course of 4 years. Along this same time period I took up rock climbing which I continue to do today as time allows whether it be at a climbing gym or trips to central Missouri or Arkansas. · We’ve dedicated a lot of time and effort to remodeling our houses over the last 4 years, which in the middle of the process I find I usually hate, but when completed it’s a rewarding feeling of accomplishment (unless it falls apart because I didn’t really know what I was doing J). · My brother and Christina’s sisters have done a wonderful job of supplying grandchildren to our parents and I really have fun during the time I get to spend with our nieces and nephews, but at the end of the week or weekend, often glad I get to send them back. · After over 13 years with the Kansas City Board of Trade, I joined INTL FCStone (INTL), a execution and advisory firm in commodities, capital markets, currencies and asset management, in the role of Vice President – Risk Systems. Since accepting this role I’ve dedicated much more time to my career and, while I never considered myself as defined by my position, title or career, I do feel very fortunate to be doing work that is extremely interesting and, despite the stress and challenges, I sincerely enjoy.

I love to dance and have fun, and that is what ZUMBA is, Latin dancing mixed with exercise. I teach it 3 nights a week in Atchison. A year later Jamie received his diploma in Diesel Truck Technology and moved back home to Savannah. He worked at Greg Chevrolet during the day. Evenings and weekends were spent building and racing his stock car. At the time of his death, Jamie had found work in his field and was employed at Dean’s Machinery (Caterpillar) in Elwood, KS. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. Upon completion of the 2010 walk I am proud to say that I have personally raised just under $20,000 for the cause and walked 300 miles. I lived 1 mile from the town of Savannah there! Returned in ‘92 and went to SMSU in Springfield and lived with Jeff Kincaid and R.W Small. Graduated in May ‘96 with a degree in Agricultural Business with an emphasis on Marketing and Sales. I worked for an insurance company in Springfield for a year and then a better opportunity brought me to Overland Park. I started at Federal Insurance in late ‘97 as a claims representative and since then have received 2 promotions to my current position as a claims supervisor. During my second position with the company in ‘98 as a field representative, I met a wonderful and beautiful woman who had 2 kids from a previous marriage. Diana and I were married 7-11-98 and lived on 6 acres outside of St. Louis until moving back in mid ’99 to take up my current position. On 8-30-99 we were blessed with the birth of our son, Lucas Randall West. I never knew true joy until he was born! Our children, Kate-10, Joseph-4 and Lucas-2 keep us very busy as one could imagine. We live in the “Northland” specifically just outside of Parkville as I don’t care for the city much. I have missed all of you very much and especially miss our fallen loved ones/classmates. I’m sure they are with us here tonight as we reflect back on the days when we roamed the halls of SHS and partied out in the country on the weekends. I hope to see all of you at the next reunion and I want to thank my friends who have kept in touch all these years. Your friendships are priceless.

(Celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in Aug) WE have 2 boys, 16 (Brandon Central High School) and 10 (Zechariah, Hall). We were foster parents for about 3 1/2 years- that is how we adopted both our boys. I currently work as an Independent Jewelry Consultant for Premier Designs. I do that from home, plus I volunteer for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, serving the Andrew/Buchanan area as a committee chair. Along with this I have assisted in caring for my mother who has been fighting cancer for 4 1/2 years. I attend Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church. I love watching my boys play sports...football! basketball and baseball. love music and scrapbooking. and love to be with my family and friends.

Ed has been with KDOT since 1994 and is an Applications Developer for Local Projects. We have two wonderful boys, Brian age 11 and Carter age 6.
