5 Unplug the stock O2 sensor from thewiring harness (Fig. C). Cut thelower zip tie to unplug. This connec-tion is located on the right hand sideof the bike.

4 Remove the fuel tank by removing thetwo bolts on either side (Fig. B).

1 Remove the seat.

2 Remove the left and right hand fair-ing.

3 Remove the bolt that holds the intakesnorkel to frame on the left hand side-of the bike (Fig. A).

11 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe left hand injector and the ThrottlePosition Sensor (Fig. F).

8 Lay the PCIII by the air box tem-porarily.

9 Route the side of the PCIII harnessthat has 3 sets of connectors to the lefthand side of the bike.

10 Route the square 6 pin connectorbehind the intake tunnel and connectto the Dynojet Wide Band Sensor(Fig. E).

6 Remove the stock O2 sensor from theexhaust (Fig. D). The sensor is bestaccessed from the left hand side of thebike.

This sensor will no longer be used.

7 Install the Dynojet Wide Band Sensorinto the stock exhaust. Route the har-ness to the left hand side of the bike.

Note: On certain exhausts it may be neces-sary to relieve the opening in theexhaust to adapt the Dynojet sensor.

13 Plug the PCIII harness in-line of theTPS and stock wiring harness(Fig. G).

14 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe right hand injector (Fig.H).

15 Plug the PCIII harness in-line of thestock injector and wiring harness(Fig. J).

16 Use the supplied zip ties to attach thePCIII harness to the frame.

17 Plug the round connector from thePCIII into the stock harness whereyou disconnected the stock O2 sensorin step 5. Zip tie the connector to theframe.

12 Plug the PCIII harness in-line of thethrottle body and stock wiring harness(Fig.G).

Align the PCIII connector to the stockwiring harness as shown below. Thesquare edges of the PCIII connectoralign with the spring clip side of thestock wiring harness

19 Install the Power Commander to thebackside of the battery (Fig. L). Thesupplied velcro can be used to securethe unit if necessary.

20 Use the supplied zip ties to secure thePCIII wiring harness to the frame asnecessary. Make sure that the PCIIIharness does not interfere with thethrottle linkage.

21 Reinstall the fuel tank

Note: It is very easy for the throttlecables to be pulled out of the guidesat the throttle bodies. Make sure tocheck that the throttle cables are seat-ed properly before reinstalling the fueltank.

Note: The white 4 pin connector onthe PCIII harness is to hook up anoptional Dynojet air/fuel gauge:

White face gauge: 76950409
