To whom it may concern:

I am currently a junior at 00 University, working towards my bachelor’s degree in

Mass Communications. I am writing to inquire about a possible internship

opportunity with your company for the spring of 2007.

Due to my father’s occupation, I was raised and educated in Sri Lanka for more

than 17 years. I attended an international school under a British curriculum and a

multicultural environment. The exposure to an international environment at an

early age made me grow up as a person with a diverse understanding of

languages and cultures, proactive personality, and good interactive skills.

In the future, I would like to utilize my international background to pursue a career

in the field of Public Relations and Advertising. Therefore, an internship at a

Public Relations and Advertising company in London would greatly help me guide

to my future career path. As a student, I am new to the field of Public Relations

and Advertising. However, I am very much eager to learn and expand my skills in

this field.

I strongly believe that with the combination of my experiences, education, and

motivation I am an appropriate candidate for the internship and would greatly

contribute to you and your organization.

In advance, thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to working with you.

INTERNSHIP LETTER OF AGREEMENT

Dear Student,

Greetings from (YOUR LOCATION)! We are pleased that you have chosen to study and do an

internship at our center. Before starting this program, it is necessary for you to understand

some important points.

I want to make it very clear that we do not guarantee an Internship until after you arrive at our

school. First we need to check your immigration status (visa) and language ability before we

start the internship process and we can only do that after you arrive.

Then we make arrangements for you to have an interview with a suitable company. We try to

find a company that matches your first choice, but this might not be possible. We can help you

prepare for the interview but it is up to you to "sell" yourself to the company. If you do not get

an offer from the first company we will keep trying other companies. The vast majority of our

students get an internship.

(Although all attempts are made to match you with your first choice, this is not always possible.

That is why you need to make a second and third choice. You will also need to prepare a

professional resume that includes detailed information about your education, work experience,

 personal interests.)

You must fill in the details below and return a copy of this agreement to Internexus Korea office before we can accept

you on the course.

If you have any questions about the internship program please feel free to contact us before signing and returning this

form.

Yours sincerely,

Notes on immigration for UK only:

Internship in the UK is classed as "work" and you must have permission to work here:

1.  EU students have permission to work at any time.

2.  Non EU students must either3.  Enroll for more than 6 months, which gives you a student visa with permission to work

4.  If enrolling for 6 months or less, you must request a "code 2" stamp in your visa, which says

"work must be authorized" Internship is authorized with this stamp. It is up to you to request

this stamp and up to immigration to decide to give it to you. We cannot guarantee it.

Please note that immigration rules are changing all the time and it is your responsibility to find

out the latest information for your country.
